Today is #mentalhealthday.
I’m so grateful to have chosen such an important and interesting field of study as #Psychology is.
It helped me broaden my views and understandings of myself, other humans, and society.
#mentalhealth is a huge problem in the world right now. There are many opinions and explanations on why mental issues are growing so much in number, but my personal view is that our bodies and minds talk to us, and pain is a nothing but a message that we should listen carefully, not just silence or escape. It’s a great opportunity to stop, think, feel, talk, learn, and ultimately grow.
You’re not sick. You’re not weird. You’re not a burden for others. And, most important, you’re not alone.
Please, if you find yourself struggling, reach out to someone: a close friend of you, or a total stranger, it doesn’t matter: do that first step and trust me, many, many people would be happy to help. If they don’t, understand that it has nothing to do with you: they’re probably struggling heaps themselves and don’t have the energy to help someone else out.
But please, believe me: you, whoever you are, you have something wonderful inside and are totally worthy.
If you feel you have no one to reach, I’m here.
Happiness is everyone’s right. ?
