It’s hard to explain the feeling as I drive back to Denmark. A bitter sweet adventure. I learned so much these past three years, thrown into the deep end, but somehow swimming easy at times, thrashing around as well and a few lifeboats along the way. Each person involved taught me a valuable lesson, even the ones that I wanted to run away from. I couldn’t have thrived without my little group of supporters (you know who you are). My staff was alway incredible always making sure I was not pushing myself too hard, almost impossible. When I did over do it they took care of me at my worst times with my head. Thank you for this and keeping me sane. .. About give girls (yes I call them my girls). Each one I can write a book about. I’m lucky to have an incredible group of women around me. They brought so much life, energy, and fun into the team. Each one dynamic in their own way. My goal of the team was simple, race as a team. If we didn’t win but we raced as team I was never upset. The result was winning with 7 different riders. A total of 18 wins, climbers jersey, leaders jerseys, sprint jerseys, and most of all we raced with a big ♥️. …. All great things must come to and end. I’m happy and satisfied, well satisfied for now.
