Not 17 times better or more entertaining, mens races are 200 times better and more entertaining, women can’t keep up, can’t endure, can’t sprint or withstand cycling like men, ¿why should they get paid equally, when they can’t equally cycle like men? Earn it, don’t whine it.

Однако, сей щебеток будто озвучил настоящее непрессрелизное мнение официальных велоспортивных организаций, сопряженных спонсоров и административных чиновников. Из средневековья выбраться хотят не все. К чему, там ведь так хорошо, темно, шито и крыто.

И ведь сколько не фэйспалмь, пишут и на полном серьезе, с ученым видом знатока:

Women’s cycling is a lot more boring. No organization, almost no teamwork, a solo rider usually runs away with little effort. In sports like biathlon women are equally paid because the show is equally good. In cycling women almost look like a bunch of teens or drunk veterans.
